Classical Ballet, Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Techniques Teacher RAD, RTS, CBTS

Summer is a qualified classical ballet teacher and mentor with the Royal Academy of Dance. Summer has recently been awarded a place on the Royal Ballet Schools Diploma of Dance Teaching course where she will expand her knowledge specialising in Pre Vocational and Vocational training for dancers, following the Royal Ballets System of Training. Summer is excited for the course to commence in September 2023 and is thrilled to share the expertise she will gain with her students at Assoluta Dance.

  • After deciding to expand her dance training Summer was awarded a full Betty Laine Scholarship to the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts for further vocational training, specialising in Musical Theatre and Dance. During this time Summer graduated with a Level 6 National Trinity Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre. 

    In 2016 Summer gained a place on the CBTS course as a student teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance where she undertook her teacher training. Summer is a registered teacher and Mentor for student teachers with the Royal Academy of Dance. Summer is also qualified and certified in both Progressing Ballet Techniques and Acrobatic Arts.

    Summer will continue to expand her knowledge and teaching techniques throughout the duration of her career. Since opening Assoluta Dance Summer is delighted to pass on her sound knowledge and love for the vocation of Classical Ballet and Dance, giving back her expertise gained through her ample training.

    Summer will at all times deliver inspiring classes with the love of dance being at the full front of her coaching. Summer hopes all students who cross her path will develop and share the same joy and enthusiasm and she has for the art.

LEANNE MORRIS

VICE PRINCIPAL

Classical Ballet, Jazz and Technique Coaching Teacher

Miss Leanne is the passionate and fun loving Vice Principal of Assoluta Dance, currently undertaking her Teacher Training with the Royal Academy of Dance, participating in a CBTS course.

Leanne is excited for the future of her teaching career and will continue to expand her teaching knowledge and qualifications throughout.

  • Leanne started dancing at the young age of two, in various different forms of dance such as Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Jazz. Performing in National Dance Festivals including the All-England Dance Finals, Associate programme end-of-year shows, Pantomimes and TV.

    At the age of nine, Leanne began her vocational training as a Junior Associate, at The Royal Ballet School, where she trained in Covent Garden for 2 years before auditioning full time for White Lodge, where she gained a place on Full Scholarship for 5 years. During her time at White Lodge, Leanne performed regularly at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, in Gala performances, numerous Ballets, including Swan Lake, La Sylphide & The Nutcracker as well as performing at Buckingham Place and many other reputable venues throughout her time there.

    After Graduating from White Lodge, Leanne continued her Classical Ballet training at Elmhurst School of Dance, in association with the Birmingham Royal Ballet, again on a Full Scholarship, for a further year before deciding to change direction where she auditioned for the Prestigious Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, Surrey. Leanne was awarded a Betty Laine Scholarship into the college and upon graduating, gained the Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance/Musical Theatre (Trinity Collect, London) Course, encompassing Singing, Drama, Performance, Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Classical Ballet, Pas De Deux & Tap.

    After her professional career in Classical Ballet & Musical Theatre, Leanne has since broadened her horizon to the world of fitness and dance training, mentoring many young students and clients privately. Leanne has an enormous amount of inspiration to give back what she has spent years learning and defining through her extensive training, determination, and dedication to overlap the strength and knowledge to fuel the younger generation.

CHLOE MACGREGOR

ISTD MODERN & TAP TEACHER

Chloe is an incredible teacher, boasting ISTD DDE Modern and Ballet teaching qualifications and an 100% pass rate with all students entered for examinations under her tutelage. Whilst Chloe is currently making her West End debut in Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward Theatre, she is extremely pleased that can continue to teach students at Assoluta.
